About Sienna

“I’m just going to write because I cannot help it.”

Sienna Wiersma

Meet Sienna

Since the age of five, I’ve been an avid reader and writer, consuming hundreds—if not thousands—of fiction and nonfiction books. I enjoy diving deep into each story and analyzing its elements as I read.

Over the past six years, I have enhanced my writing and editing skills through a wealth of craft books, creative writing classes, and online workshops, including the advanced Jensen’s Grammar and Vocabulary courses. I also had the opportunity to learn from author Nadine Brandes in her self-editing and freelance editing classes.

For more than two years, I’ve been a member of The Young Writer’s Workshop, where I have the opportunity to learn essential writing skills and become experienced with editing and beta reading. I also stay up-to-date on the editing world as a silver member of the Christian PEN editor association.

My goal is to provide writers with valuable, uplifting feedback at affordable prices. I take a collaborative approach to editing manuscripts, and it’s my desire to come alongside authors and help make their manuscripts sparkle even more.

The process of editing a story is deeply fulfilling and inspiring. It would be my honor to serve you as your editor!

I read and edit a wide range of genres, and I have experience editing stories within the Middle Grade, YA, New Adult, and Adult categories. I prefer to edit manuscripts written by Christian or clean/inspirational authors.

Fiction: I’m most experienced in the genres of fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, contemporary romance, rom coms, and mystery/suspense.

Nonfiction: I specialize in narrative nonfiction.

Disclaimer: I only edit clean and/or inspirational stories. I won’t edit books that contain cursing (aside from made-up fantasy words), LGBTQ characters/themes/topics, explicit sexual content, excessive violence/gore, or stories written with the assistance of AI. I also prefer not to edit horror/apocalyptic fiction, erotica, poetry, or screenplays.
